                                                    Thomas Edison National Historical Park


This park is a very interesting park that contains Thomas Edison's residence and laboratory. His many inventions has impacted oour lives for the past 4 decades! In these laboratories " came the motion picture camera, improved phonographs, sound recordings, silent and sound movies and the nickel-iron alkaline electric storage battery." (Wikipedia). This Park has gone through many changes like it was first named Edison Home National Historic Site And Edison Laboratory National Monument, Edison National Historic Site and now it is Thomas Edison National Historical Park.

Old Barracks Museum

                                                              Old Barracks Museum


This is a great place to go when visiting NJ. This museum is the only colonial barracks that is left in New Jersey. It was one of the 5 of the Barracks that served as a house to soldiers during the French and Indian War. The Daughters of the Revolution bough a part of this barrack and the state of New Jersey bought the other part and it is still preserved. There isn't anything else to say other that it a very cool place to go visit.

Adventure Aquarium

                                                            ADVENTURE AQUARIUM



Adventure Aquarium was knowsn as the New Jersey State Aquarium adn it is for entertainment and educational purposes. This Aquarium was opened in 1992 but it had it's reopening in May of 2005. This attraction was featuring 8.000 animals in many forms like aquatic, and semi-aquatic. The Aquarium contains more than 2 million US gallons! The Aquarium when it was done building cost about 52 million dollars. This Aquarium hosted many visitors but it didn't stay all happy immediately there were many negative reactions to this and many complaints to the establishment. People said it was like a prision for fish and that it requiered demolition. Adventure Aquarium is also one of the best places to visit!

Liberty Science Center

This center is an interactive science museum and it is located in the Liberty State Park. This science center was first opened in 1933 as NJ's major state science museum. This Science center also has the largest IMAX Dome. The Liberty Science Center had a 22 month expansion and renewal project worth 109 million on July 2007. There are many Exhibits like Skyscraper Achievement and impact, Eat and Be Eaten, Communication, Infection Connection, I Explore and more. It is a very good place to pass your day!:

Liberty State Park

                                                                      Liberty State Park

You should visit Liberty State Park which is located in Jersey City. This park was opened in 1976 to have celebrations. This park is also mantained by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. Liberty State Park is bordered by water on the North, the South and East. This park was a small island named Black Tom and projects in the late 1800s helped to join the island with the mainland. There has been many events in this park and it is fun to visit.

Vist the Cape May Country Park and Zoo as part as your tour to the best places in NJ. This Zoo provides 550 animals in 85 acres. This zoo is located in the center of Cape May Country's Central Park. The zoo is open every day except in Christmas, which is opened one hour less depending on the weather. Since 1986 Cape May Country Zoological Society has been giving the zoo funds needed to improve the place and assure the enjoyment everyone.
